The Redevelopment Commission oversees the funds collected within the Tax Incremented Finance (TIF) designated area. The committee reviews projects for the TIF area, then the projects are added to a list that is presented to the Board of Public Works and City Council for approval. All meetings are required to be public, and meeting times are advertised through the Madison Courier.
If you do not feel comfortable attending the meeting in person at this time but would like to submit questions and/or comments regarding the agenda, you can do so by emailing community@madison-IN.gov no later than noon the day of the scheduled meeting date. Said questions and/or comments will be provided to board members and legal counsel prior to the meeting.
