  1. Park Hop

    March 1, 2020, 5:00 AM - March 31, 2020, 8:00 PM @ Parks and Nature Preserves Throughout Jefferson County

    The Park Hop is a community-wide scavenger hunt where kids can earn prizes by visiting the parks and answering scavenger hunt clues. Answer the clues for each park you visit during March and collect prizes for visiting one or more parks. There is a special Park Hop Celebration in early April to collect prizes.   2. Mother Goose on the Loose

    This story/activity time is for children 6mo. – 35mo. includes rhymes, songs, musical instruments and more for babies and toddlers and their caregivers.   3. Young Writers Workshop

    March 17, 2020, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM @ Madison Public Library

    Creative writing guided by Dominique Battles of Hanover College. This program is for kids in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The program is ongoing and meets on Tuesdays. Participants who finish a story may submit it to be added to the library’s collection. Registration is required. Free.     Boys and girls ages 8-17 can attend this fun program exploring the basics of computer coding. Help Anna and Elsa create patterns in ice. Step by step instruction provided.
