  1. Fall Scavenger Hunt

    October 4, 9:00 AM - October 27, 6:00 PM @ Madison Public Library

    The library is hosting a fun fall scavenger hunt for children of all ages. Youth may stop in to the Main library any time and ask for a scavenger hunt card at one of our service desks. Find all the items on the card, write down the corresponding numbers, and collect sprout bucks to spend at the Madison Farmer's Market.

  2. All Ages Story Time

    October 25, All Day @ Hanover Branch Library

    This fun story time includes books, songs, music shakers, and crafts. All ages welcome. This group meets for five weeks through November 8. Participants do not have to attend every week. Registration is required. Free. Go to mjcpl.org and click on "Events" to register.

  3. Red Cross Blood Drive

    October 25, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Madison Public Library

    Give the gift of life! To save time, donors may use RapidPass on October 25 to complete pre-reading and donation questions online before arriving at the Library at redcrossblod.org/RapidPass and either print pass or save on a smart phone. Appointment times may be scheduled before arriving at the Library by callin 800-733-2767, going to redcrossblood.org, or downloading the Blood Donor App.

  4. Duct Tape Couch Makeover

    October 25, 6:00 PM @ Madison Public Library

    Help re-decorate the duct tape couch in the Young Adult area at the Main Library downtown. Duct tape provided. Must be 12 or older to participate. Registration required. Program lasts 30-45 minutes and is limited to six participants. Go to mjcpl.org and click on "Events" to register or call the library at 812-265-2744.

    Is the library haunted? Join Jefferson County Paranormal Society's, Ernest Caswell, for a presentation on paranormal research and an investigation into Jefferson County Public Library's own legends. Ages 12 and up.
