Description of the Award and Criteria
Anyone can nominate people for the award, which is given quarterly.
Recipients must have received approval from the Historic District Board of Review. Projects must be good examples to others, by following recommendations in the City Of Madison's Design Review Guidelines and/or the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
A committee consisting of representatives of the Historic Board, the Cornerstone Society Inc. preservation group and Historic Madison Inc. meets with Preservation Planner Fife to select the winners.
